Please phone and book in for your flu vaccination. It is recommended that people in the following groups have one: over 65 years of age, chronic respiratory disease, chronic heart disease, chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic neurological disease, diabetics, those with suppressed immune systems (due to steroid treatment/chemotherapy or in people without spleens) and those with HIV.

We would like to welcome a new member of staff, Sister Robertson who has now joined the medical centre team! She is an experienced nurse practitioner who is able to deal with minor illness complaints and chronic diseases. As a nurse prescriber she can also deal with your prescription needs. Please feel free to book in with her as she works Mondays to Fridays.
|New Smoking Cessation Clinic|

If you are thinking about quitting smoking please be aware of a new smoking cessation clinic at the practice. Anyone can book with Sister Low to discuss the best strategies to use to stop smoking. We can prescribe nicotine replacement treatment and/or champix to help you. Also, we then follow up progress on a regular basis to improve success rates.
