Repeat prescriptions

We now take requests for repeat and special request medication over the telephone. Please phone reception between 1.30pm and 5pm but remember that requests may take upto 48 hours to process.

Contraceptive Implant

8th July

We are now able to offer women the contraceptive implant. Please ask at reception or make an appointment with Dr Myers to discuss this further.

Practice Holidays

We would like to let you all know that the practice will closed on the following public holidays:

3rd May 2010, 31st May 2010, 19th July 2010, 27th September 2010, 27th and 28th December 2010, 3rd and 4th January 2011.

If you require assistance on these days please contact NHS 24 on 08454-242424.

Welcome to Helensburgh Medical Centre,

Our practice was established in 1948 and several years ago we moved into our spacious, purpose built health centre. Medicine has changed markedly over the years and our doctors and nurses pride themselves on keeping up with the latest developments. Our aim has always been to provide the highest quality of care to all our patients. We strongly believe in the importance of continuity of care. To this end, we give you the right and choice to see any doctor within the practice. We encourage you to develop a long-term professional relationship with one of us. Rest assured that we are all highly trained and motivated with several of us having special areas of clinical interest. To facilitate easy access for you, we have a flexible appointment system that ensures that you can be seen at an appropriate time of your choosing.
