| 6th January 2012 Happy New Year to everyone and we are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Hadi to the practice. He has joined us full time and is a very experienced GP. We are now back to a full compliment of GPs and are confident that you will find it easier now to get appointments! |
| Festive Practice Opening Times |
| 22 December 2011 The practice will be closed on the 26th and 27th December 2011 but will open as normal from the 28th - 30th December. The following week we are closed the 2nd and 3rd January but will be open the rest of the week as normal. We wish all a happy Christmas and prosperous 2012! |

| 22nd November 2011 Over the Christmas break Boots will be open on 26th(11am-4pm) and 27th December 2011(11am-3pm). All pharmacies in town are open normal hours on the 28th December 2011. |

| Psoriasis Clinic |
| 21st November 2011 Dr Mukerjee held a special psoriasis clinic for our patients on Saturday 19th November. It was a great success with 42 of our patients attending (more than we expected!). |

| Family Planning |

If you are needing advice on contraception you can either consult ourselves or Helensburgh Family Planning (based at the Victoria Infirmary in Helensburgh). We offer a range of contraceptive services so simply book in to see a GP. Together we will work out which form of contraception might suit you best. We can fit nexplanon and offer this service to anyone in the area even if you are not registered with us. We do not put in the coil. However, this can be done at the Family Planning Clinic. If you happen to have a contraceptive 'accident' please contact us or a local pharmacy asap. Emergency contraception is effective usually within 72 hours of intercourse. However, we would still advise you contact us if you are within 5 days of intercourse as other methods may be appropriate. Most pharmacists are able to dispense emergency contraception over the counter now so this may save you some time! Outwith surgery times contact NHS 24.
